DELEGATE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions govern your registration for, and attendance and participation at the New Zealand Credit Risk & Fraud Summit (‘CRF’) presented by Happy Prime Consultancy Limited (NZBN 6528038).

By registering for the CRF, you agree to the following terms and conditions, and any other terms and conditions which may apply to the CRF.


Registration and payment

Registration

Registration for an event implies that the delegate will attend and must pay the registration fee prior to the commencement of the event. 

Registration acceptance

Consideration and acceptance of your application to participate at the Event is at the sole discretion of THE ORGANISER. THE ORGANISER is under no obligation to provide you with any reasons for its acceptance or rejection of your application to attend.

Registration fee

The Registration Fee is due and payable in full within 30 days of issue of an invoice by THE ORGANISER, and in any case no later than 15 business days prior to the event.  

GST

  1. Delegates agree to pay all applicable GST in connection with the event as provided for on the event website, or as otherwise notified by THE ORGANISER.

  2. Delegates agree to pay all applicable card fees in connection with the event as provided for on the event website, or as otherwise notified by THE ORGANISER. 

Other costs

THE ORGANISER will not be responsible for any costs or disbursements that you incur as a result of your application. You are responsible for all your costs associated with the event including, without limitation, travel and accommodation costs.


Cancellation

Cancellation policy

  1. All cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees apply regardless of whether the participation fee has been paid and must be paid within 10 working days of cancellation being made.

  2. THE ORGANISER welcomes a substitute attendee if the original delegate is unable to attend. THE ORGANISER must be notified of the substitution prior to the commencement of the event.

  3. A full refund of the registration fee will be made if a cancellation is received before 5pm on 30 September 2025.

  4. A 50% refund of the registration fee will be made if a cancellation is received after the above date and up until 5pm on 19 December 2025.

  5. No full or part refund will be payable if a cancellation is received after 5pm on 13 February 2026.

Event changes or cancellation

  1. THE ORGANISER reserves the right to substitute presenters, make alterations, reschedule or cancel events where circumstances are beyond its control.

  2. THE ORGANISER will not be liable to a delegate, and will not be obliged to refund a delegate’s registration fee, in any circumstance where an event is cancelled due to a force majeure event. In these terms ‘force majeure event’ means any event or circumstance beyond the reasonable control of THE ORGANISER and includes but is not limited to acts of God, power failures, riots, strikes, lock-outs, labour disputes, fires, war, flood, earthquake, the acts of any public authority or imposition of any government sanction, embargo or similar action, pandemics or other disaster.

  3. Subject to 2 above, in the unlikely event of an event is cancelled by THE ORGANISER, a full refund of your registration fee will be made and THE ORGANISER’s liability will be limited to the amount of the registration fee paid by the delegate.

  4. In the event of it being found necessary, for whatever reason to postpone the event or change the dates, the organisers shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the delegate.

  5. If by re-arrangement or postponement the event can take place, the booking between the delegate and the organisers shall remain in force and will be subject to THE ORGANISER’s cancellation schedule.


Right of Removal

THE ORGANISER reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the event, any delegate or participant who disrupts the event or engages in any form of protest, demonstration, or behaviour deemed inappropriate or disruptive by THE ORGANISER or venue staff. This includes any actions that interfere with the proceedings of the event, infringe upon the rights of other attendees, or violate applicable laws or venue regulations. Any individuals removed from the event under this clause will not be entitled to any refund of their registration fee or associated costs.


General

Speakers views

  1. Views expressed by THE ORGANISER event speakers are their own. 

  2. THE ORGANISER cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at THE ORGANISER event or in any material provided to delegates by our guest speakers.

Image release

  1. In registering for CRF, delegates grant permission to THE ORGANISER, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs containing their image/likeness. It is understood these images may be used for promotional, news, on-line/multimedia, research and/or educational purposes by and for THE ORGANISER. 

  2. Delegates agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from THE ORGANISER in respect of their image/likeness or its use. 

  3. Delegates release, discharge, and hold harmless, THE ORGANISER and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video. 

Special physical requirements

  1. Will only be catered for if requested before the event registration closing date. 

  2. Please indicate any special requirements on your registration form or email ask@crfsummit.co.nz.

Promotional material

It is not permitted for delegates to distribute or display promotional materials at the event without prior consent from THE ORGANISER.  

Compliance with law

You will ensure that you, and each of your employees, contractors and representatives, comply with all applicable New Zealand law at all times during your participation in the event.

Governing law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by New Zealand law and the courts of New Zealand shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction to hear and determine all issues which may arise under or in connection with these terms and conditions.

Privacy

  1. THE ORGANISER may collect personal information from you (such as your name, home/business address and email) for the purpose of facilitating your participation in the event, and for event management. It may be provided to other event related organisations or entities (such as other event participants, event sponsors / partners and event contractors) for the purpose of event management or THE ORGANISER may use it to contact you in the future for purposes relating to the event.  

  2. If you wish to opt out of your information being shared with event sponsors then you must select this at the time of registration on the registration form.

THE ORGANISER may make changes to these terms and conditions at any time by publishing an amended version of these terms and conditions on its website.

Health & Safety

All delegates are required to follow all fire, health and safety regulations which affect the event. 

The CRF is a smoke-free event and smoking in the venue is strictly prohibited.
